ULTIMATE QUICK GUIDE FOR PRIDE OF SOUTH – GOLDEN CHARIOT

Golden Chariot is a luxury train that runs around the southern states of India. This purple golden train is very famous for its amenities and types of destinations. It serves two types of itinerary which are equally famous. Pride of South is one of its tour options which stretch for seven nights and eight days covering Karnataka and Goa. The trip starts and ends on a Monday at Bangalore. 

Day One:

The tourists would be accommodated at a luxury hotel, Taj West End for completion of formalities. After a luxurious tea and cultural programs, the tourists would be escorted to ISKON temple (optional) before reaching Yashwantpur railway station. Dinner would be served in the train while it travels to Mysore.

Day Two:

Later, tourists are taken to Kabini near Mysore through cab or bus and wildlife attractions are enjoyed along with lunch at a lodge inside the national park. After safari, tourists would have their dinner and stay overnight at the lodge in the jungle.

Day Three:

After a boat cruise on the Kabini River and breakfast in a hotel in Mysore, the sightseeing starts in Mysore. By afternoon, tourists will be escorted to the Golden Chariot for lunch onboard. After some sightseeing, the dinner is served in Golden Chariot and the train starts its travel towards Hassan.

Day Four:

After breakfast in the train, tourist destinations that include Jain pilgrim centres (optional) would be covered. The lunch would be served in the train and after lunch, tourists would be taken for sightseeing in Belur and Halebid. After an extended sightseeing, tourist would return to the train by late evening and the train would start its travel towards Hospet.

Day Five:

Train would reach Hospet by morning and breakfast would be served onboard. After breakfast, tourists are taken to Hampi and nearby attractions. After the guided tour, tourists would be escorted to the train for lunch and then the sightseeing continues till late evening. Dinner would be served in the luxury train in India.

Day Six:

The train would reach Badami and tourists would be taken to many attractions for sightseeing till afternoon. The tourists would be escorted to the train for lunch. The rest of the evening would be allocated for enjoying the amenities inside the train as it travel slowly towards Goa.

Day Seven:

The train would reach Goa by early morning and the breakfast would be served in the train. After enjoying various attractions, beaches and others; tourists would be taken to Portuguese House for tea at late morning. Lunch would be served in a beach resort and tourists would be escorted to the train only by late evening for dinner. The train start its travel towards Bangalore.

Day Eight:

Train would reach Bangalore by morning and after breakfast, the formalities would begin for departure.
